The Law of Attraction works when you don't even know it

2 years ago, before my husband and i had even watched The Secret, we were driving back to the airport in a little hire car after a short weekend trip. Just for fun we decided to pretend that we were driving in the 4 wheel drive i so desperately wanted and that we were on our way to the international airport for our fist overseas trip, without knowing what we were doing we pretended that all the way and really believed it, my husband said "where are we going" and without thinkink I said "India".
3 weeks later i drove past a car yard and saw a new 4 wheel drive that i loved, we went and test drove it but didn't think that we could afford it, to our surprise, we got much more for the trade in on our old vehicle than we expected and we BOUGHT THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE !!!

About 2 months after that my husband got a call to inform him that he was having $10,000.00 deposited into his business bank account for something that we had never expected to be paid for, we went down and paid for our 8 week trip around the world, the last stop being a 2 week stint in INDIA!!!!

THE LAW OF ATTRACTION REALLY DOES WORK.

About a month ago a good friend of ours gave us the DVD of "The Secret", we have watched it every day since, have created a vision boeard of the farm we want to buy and the house that will be on it, and every day it feels more and more like we already have it!!

We are so greatful for the secret and we'll post a picture on here when we move to our farm!

Was I a Money Magnet?

I'd like to preface my story by saying that I haven't yet seen The Secret. But I think this story will be of interest to anyone who thinks that there is more to life and prosperity than meets the eye.

About 20 years ago I worked for a small sub-division of a very large company. I'll call it Company X. It was my first real job and I worked for them for about 10 years. I left them on good terms and went to school full time to complete my college degree. I had been putting it off for a long time and decided to bite the bullet before I got too "old".

Fast forward to two years ago. I had been laid off from an IT job and was under-employed doing some contract work. I had long ago lost contact with any of my co-workers at Company X and had even had some problems contacting the company for work references. The small sub-division I'd worked at had long ago been closed and employment records had been shuffled around the country during various mergers.

I have been meditating on and off for many years, but I began a steady meditation discipline during that time to try and handle the stress I was feeling. Somewhere I came across a "money meditation" which I included at the end of each day's meditation. It involved imagining that I was a money magnet. As I breathed, I would imagine a large coil running up my spine which glowed brighter as I inhaled. I imagined that the glow spread out into the world and as I exhaled, it would return to me and pull a pile of money back with it. My real inner goal was not to find a pile of money, but find a steady, good paying job.

I did this for about two months and the most money that ever came to me was a stray coin as I walked my dog around the neighborhood. Each time I thanked the universe for the money. Still, began to feel a little foolish. But I had determined that I would do this meditation daily for six months. If nothing happened in that time, I could safely tell myself that I had "tried".

One day I found a letter in my mailbox from "Company X Litigation". It was a generic brochure saying that some kind of lawsuit was happening involving my old employer and I may or may not be a party. At first I was mildly excited by this, but I had received these sorts of class action notices before and had never actually gotten anything from one. Still, I stashed the notice in the back of my filing cabinet.

A few more months passed and I was about to give up on my money magnet meditation. I had pretty much forgotten about the Company X notice. Then I received another actual letter from a law firm saying that I was indeed a party to the litigation and I needed to fill out a form and return it to them to verify my claim. It seemed that, for employees who had left between a narrow set of dates and cashed out their retirement plan, Company X had somehow miscalculated the payout. Now, I had indeed cashed out my $15,000 retirement plan when I left and spent the money on my college tuition years ago.

Based on no concrete numbers I did some quick mental calculations. I figured that if they mis-payed by a couple of hundred dollars, I might be entitled to a thousand or so, accounting for interest over the years. For some reason that seemed to me like a reasonable number. While it wasn't a pile of cash like I had been meditating on, it would still be a nice boost to my finances. I filled out the form and returned it to the law firm.

Another month passed. I determined to continue my money meditation due to the chance of gaining a small windfall. Finally, I found in my mailbox a receipt for a registered letter. I quickly went to the post office and signed for the legal sized envelope. Back in my car I ripped open the top. My mind was racing, wondering if I would get the $1000 dollar figure I had in my head or if I would be disappointed. Before I pulled the letter out of the envelope, I took a deep breath and cautioned myself that it would probably be check for $10. I reminded myself that things never worked out as well as I hoped they would.

I took the letter out of the envelope. It was three pages. I scanned them quickly. The first was an overview of the lawsuit. The second was a bunch of figures showing the number of employees and the amount Company X settled for. Then on the last page I saw a separate section that looked like a bank statement. At the very bottom I found the amount to which I was entitled. It was $32,000!!

Now I can't say for sure that my money meditation during those months brought this money to me. It could be a complete coincidence. Soon after cashing the check I stopped my money meditation. I can't tell you exactly why. I think that I was so struck by my good luck that I felt that continuing would be greedy! But this sequence of events has always stuck in the back of my mind. Did I somehow magnetize that money? I think it might be time to start that meditation again.

$4,ooo in one day, you better believe it

My friends shared this movie with me, they obviously are dear friends who care. I was choking while I was watching this. Of course, the universe brings you what you need at the right time. I had been praying for our business that this past month was going a bit slow. I saw the movie, and I asked my genie to give me 4,000 on Saturday, now you must know this entire month we have not done more than 3,000 on any particular day. I made my wish and left it at that. I came back on Monday from an out of town trip and guess what, it said we did exactly 4,089.00 on Saturday. Do you see the power, the awesome power of The Secret. I did not even finish watching the movie but stayed positive, focused and visualized and lord, "your wish is my command" came true. I was so excited I called everyone I knew and of course my friends. We have started a creation board as a family with my kids and let me tell you it works... and is working. Believe it and stay with it, that all good things are coming my way. I have $100,000 coming to me in 30 days too. I thank the lord in advance everyday. I see that check made out to me for $100,000. I gratefully accept all the abundance and prosperity of this universe. thank you God

Free Money

During the part of The Secret where they said, "ask for $25,000 of unexpected income in the next 30 days, or whatever is believable for you..." This was September 28th.
I said, "In 30 days, by October 27th, I want $1,000 of unexpected money to come into my life."
That next week, we got about $300 in bank charges dropped! "Wow" I thought, great start! The next week my mother in law sent us $60 just because! Okay, getting closer. Later that week my husband's grandmother sent us $60 for our birthdays (which are in May and July and this is October already!) I had found approximately $3 on the street from picking up pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. $423 that came into my life without any effort for it! Then, I opened a new bank account and part of their rewards was $77 for opening an account with them! $500!! I was floored.
I've been at my new job for about a month, and as I was leaving for the weekend my boss hands me a card and says, "we've had a good start" and smiled. When I left the building and opened the envelope, there was $400 cash as a gift for me to buy new work clothes on him. $900 total and counting. Today is October 27th, Hey, $100 is still coming my way!
This Secret is so powerful, with just a little effort and focus, anything you want can happen to you. I'm a believer.

Unbelievable results

My wife and I watched The Secret on two occasions so far and we found it just incredible and are working hard every day to make sure that we change our thoughts and protect any thoughts that enter our mind. I think about the movie daily and I make sure that I write in my gratitude journal on a daily basis. This has not always been easy but I try to remain very diligent.
Last week we received in the mail a cheque for $15720. It was not expected but very welcomed. This works and I encourage everyone to watch the movie and watch it several times. You need to change your thinking and your thoughts and you will see that the universe will open up for you.
Thank you for the gift of this movie and my wife and I are very grateful that we came across this wonderful revelation of a simple law.
